Running to rebuild a broken systeM

Why I’m running

The System Is Broken

Rent, mortgages, property taxes, utilities, and groceries keep going up. Wages do not. Regular people across the Hudson Valley are paying more and getting less, and it is getting harder just to stay afloat.

This did not happen by accident. The system is rigged to benefit billionaires and corporate special interests, while everyone else is told to wait their turn.

We Can’t Afford to Wait

Too many politicians are comfortable managing the problem instead of fixing it. They talk, they posture, and they tell us things are improving, while regular people fall further behind.

It is time for action that puts working people first.

This Is Personal for Me

The Hudson Valley is my home. I know what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck here, working multiple jobs, renting, paying taxes, and trying to build a stable life in a system stacked against you.

I have spent my entire adult life here, fighting for a fair shot, because I believe this system can be rebuilt to work for regular people again.

Fighting Back and Winning

I am currently serving my fourth term on the Poughkeepsie Common Council, where I have fought for and delivered:

  • Stronger tenant protections

  • Housing regular people can afford

  • Tax cuts for seniors

  • Greater government accountability

  • Smart, sustainable development
